Dr. Yiyang (Ian) Wang joined MSOE in 2023 and currently serves as an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Software Engineering Department. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from DePaul University in 2023. Ian's research interests encompass data science and machine learning, with a primary focus on their applications in the medical domain.
Dr. Gabriel Wright is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021. Gabriel’s primary research work is in computational biology, specifically studying the effects of rare codons on resulting protein expression, folding, and function.
Gene Wright is an Assistant Professor at the Rader School of Business and the Pieper Family Foundation Endowed Chair for Servant-Leadership at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Prior to joining MSOE full-time, he taught graduate and undergraduate courses as an adjunct professor for over 25 years, including appointments at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Lubar School of Business. His teaching expertise spans New Product Development Management, Innovation Management, Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Marketing. At UWM, Wright also served as the Lubar Executive MBA Program Director and conducted executive education workshops for corporate clients.
